Dylan Sinclair is on the adventure of a lifetime, having traveled back in time to Medieval Scotland.  Handsome and charming, he is a magnet for women, but the only one he’s interested in, is back in twenty-first century Glendaloch, or so he thinks.  Brielle, disguised as Maggie, arrives at Breaghacraig, much to Dylan’s surprise and confusion, as he realizes she is very different from the girl he thought he was falling in love with.  Not one to give up on his first chance at real love, Dylan sets about trying to solve the puzzle that Maggie has become.

It's Christmas at The Thistle & Hive Inn and Edna Campbell couldn't be happier.  She's sent all of her time traveling friends and their families a special invitation to meet at the bridge on December 22, where they'll be transported through time from the year 1516 to present day Glendaloch, Scotland.  It should be a joyful celebration, but things may not go exactly as planned when sixteenth-century highlanders and their twenty-first century wives invade this small village.

Sara Barrett hasn’t been able to stop thinking about the handsome Highlander who strode into her life from sixteenth-century Scotland. She decides to leave her brother, her home, and her entire life behind to find him, but first she must convince Edna Campbell to send her back in time. The witch sees trouble ahead for the determined lass, and tries to discourage her.  But Sara has made up her mind and won’t be deterred.


Logan MacPhail has done his best to forget the beautiful woman he met when he traveled to the future.   When she shows up unexpectedly in his world, it’s only to find he has made a pledge out of duty that he will not break.  Logan tries to convince Sara to return to her own time. Zeke Barrett didn’t plan on traveling back in time, especially if it meant possibly seeing the woman he once loved and lost, but he finds he has no choice if he wishes to ever see his sister, Sara again. He’s determined to bring her back home to San Francisco where she belongs.  She’s the only family he has left and Zeke refuses to lose her to a time and place that has long been forgotten.  He enlists the aid of the witch, Edna Campbell, who agrees to help him, but as usual, Edna has an ulterior motive.  Instead of tracking down Sara, Zeke finds himself at Castle Treun where he becomes embroiled in the MacRae family drama and he gets more than he bargained for when he finds he can hardly stand by and watch as Brenna MacRae is used as a pawn in a game between her father and Nevil Munro, the man she is to marry.


Zeke must get Brenna safely into her brother’s care, but first he’ll have to deal with her family and the evil Laird Munro.  Once he does, he’ll still have to confront his feelings about the woman who broke his heart and the woman, who despite all her protests, is the only one who can heal it.

How she got there is a mystery, but once at Breaghacraig she learns about the matchmaking witch, Edna Campbell and what her possible plans for Elle may include.  Despite Edna’s meddling, there’s no time in Elle’s life for love, but during this time away from the many distractions of the twenty-first century, she begins to see what’s been missing in her life.  Nevertheless, the future and the strong pull of her career beckons to her with the possibility everything that looked so attractive in the sixteenth century, will become a distant memory as she strives to regain her place at the top of the charts.

All he wanted to do was time travel, but instead, Hamish MacBeown finds himself responsible for the well-being of a time traveler.  It appears the witch misunderstood his request because the last thing he wants or needs is the responsibility of protecting an unusual lass from the future.  Despite his protests, Hamish finds himself fighting a losing battle as his attraction for Elle grows. He can’t be sure of her feelings for him as it seems the only thing Elle wants is to return to the future and her life before they met. This could be the opportunity he’s been waiting for, but as he seeks adventure he risks a broken heart, that is unless Elle has been awakened by time.

Tina Carrera is looking for the love of her life and so she does what anyone else in her position would do. She calls on Edna Campbell of The Thistle & Hive Inn.  Edna is more than happy to help her by sending her back in time to Breaghacraig where she promises Tina will find her man.

Unfortunately for him, fate has intervened and sent him a wee daughter he was unaware of.  Responsibility isn’t something Donal is known for and he has no experience with being a father. As luck would have it, a lass from the future arrives just in time to save him. The only problem is that he’s lied to her from the start and when she finds out the truth she wants nothing to do with him.
